Donate This Summer
Our blood supply typically dips during the summer months, so we’re offering new promotions to award the donors who help maintain our blood supply during this critical time.
In June, July, and August, we’ll run three separate raffle drawings for each category of donor who gives with ARUP Blood Services. To be entered into these drawings, all you have to do is donate!
Our categories of donors are:
- Donors who make in-center donations
- Donors who give at public blood drives
- ARUP employee donors
One donor in each category will receive one of the following prizes each month:
- A $500 gift card
- A $250 airline or hotel gift card
- A $100 membership to a local attraction (e.g., the Hogle Zoo, the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium, local museums, etc.)
Raffle winners will be announced in July, August, and September.
To increase your chances, we invite you to donate as often as you can! Whole blood can be donated every 56 days, and platelets can be given every 10 days, up to 23 times per year, but we encourage waiting 14 days between platelet donations.
